Cedar West Apartments was acquired and redeveloped in 2015 by Cedar Haven LLLP, using Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC) and tax exempt bonds. This $7.9 million acquisition/rehabilitation project was made possible thanks to the sponsors of the project, which include: the Spokane Housing Authority, equity investor CREA and bond and construction financing provided by Banner Bank.
Incomes are restricted to renters with incomes at or below 60 percent of AMI. Rents are also restricted by LIHTC rent limits and the project will remain affordable for at least 40 years.
